Overweight children parents to be warned

Under Government proposal, parents in England may be warned if their children found overweight. Right now parents are informed about their children obesity status at the age of 5 and 10 and the stats are available on request right now.


But in the new plan, parents may have direct access to their children obesity status automatically. Obesity problem is getting bigger and bigger ay by day and taking the shape of an epidemic worldwide.


According to the recent studies, an obese person cuts his life short by 9 years and very obese person dies 13 years earlier compared to a normal weight person.
