TV watching has negative impact on children diet

watching TV while eating According to University of Minnesota researchers, Watching TV while eating family meals may have negative impact on children's diets. Researchers found that children had lower quality of diet when eating with family while watching TV compared to children who ate with their family but keep the TV off. Boys ate lower amount of vegetables and grains and higher amount of soft drinks while watching TV as compared to boys who do not prefer TV while eating. Girls ate lower amount of dark vegetables and high amount of fried food while watching TV as compared to girls who do not watch TV while eating (From ScienceDaily).
